Crawl Space Solutions

In Rescue, there are many homes that are built with crawl spaces in addition to basements. For a long time, these were constructed with open vents to the outside where were intended to help fresh air flow into the area and keep it dry. Unfortunately, this is rarely what happens. This is done using a method called encapsulation which is the installation of a thick liner or vapor barrier, occasionally installed with insulation products, which are thick plastic and vinyl sheeting as well as vent covers and a heavy duty door that will close off the area completely and stop any excess moisture from entering. This will also stop rodents and animals from settling in your crawl space which will help keep any equipment there safe and allow you to use it for storage.
