We do this using a method called encapsulation which is the installation of a series of vapor barriers, occasionally installed with insulation products, and are sturdy plastic and vinyl sheeting as well as covers to close off existing vents and a sturdy door that will close off the area completely and prevent any excess moisture from entering. After the crawl space is closed off, if necessary we will install a series of sagging floor jacks to repair sinking floors above the crawl space.
