This is done using a method called encapsulation which is the installation of a heavy duty liner, sometimes accompanied by insulation products, which are sturdy plastic and vinyl sheeting as well as vent covers and a sturdy door that can close off the area completely and stop any unwanted moisture from entering. Closing the area will also stop pests and animals from getting in your crawl space which will keep any equipment there safe and allow you to use it for storage.
