Crawl Space Solutions

In the greater Virginia Beach area, there are many homes that are built with crawl spaces in addition to basements. For a long time, they were constructed with vents to the outside where were intended to help air flow into the space and keep it dry. Unfortunately, this is rarely what happens. The vents allow water to enter the space during rain and snow storms and the vents prevent proper evaporation which results in the humidity level staying too high which can foster the growth of mildew.
