Crawl Space Solutions
In our area, there are many homes that are built with crawl spaces and not basements. For many years, they were built with vents to the outside where were intended to help fresh air flow through the area and keep it dry. Unfortunately, this is rarely what happens. The vents allow water to enter the space when it rains or snows and the vents prevent proper evaporation which results in the humidity level staying too high which can facilitate the growth of mildew.
